Bill's friends and fans came together to celebrate his life and music at Somerville Theater.
We called it, "Friend of Mine: The Bill Morrissey Tribute Concert" and it was that. Produced by Ellen Karas and Dave Werlin's Great Northeast Productions the concert was both filmed and recorded. Cliff Eberhardt was the musical director, David Dye of NPR’s World Cafe was the host, Brad Paul did everything from producing the intermission video tribute to stage managing and Nalini Jones helped on scene with stage managing.
All the artists who were asked to perform were long time friends of Bill. All either stayed with Bill and Ellen multiple times, traveled with Bill and performed with Bill or were long time friends.
